Alesco signs a new exclusive distribution agreement in Italy with Polaris, the French company that has been supplying an innovative, specialised portfolio of plant-based Omega-3 products for over 25 years.
Undertaking this new partnership with Polaris offers the possibility to continue the distribution on the Italian market, which began in 2000, of a very important ingredient for Alesco: Algal DHA.

Historically, Algal DHA is precisely the cornerstone on which Alesco has developed its business. Since then, the sales market has transformed radically, competition is fierce and is still increasing.
This is why, after a careful selection process to assess the most valid options on the market, Alesco chose Polaris as its partner.

Omega-3, which is essential for the well-being of the cardiovascular and nervous systems, is renowned as a micronutrient of animal origin (fish is particularly rich in it). However, as it is sadly known, fishing is becoming increasingly unsustainable, and this is why plant-based Omega-3 has become the best possible alternative for the short- and long-term future.

While plant-based Omega-3 is already a well-known and popular product worldwide, the Italian market is only just opening up to the new, sustainable alternative: and it is in this leeway that Alesco aims to consolidate its sales action by distributing Polaris algal oil.
